Goal 3 - Model digital- age work, research, collaboration and learning

Example 1:
This artifact, Google Drive Directions, is a handout that I made for a staff development training that I led. During this training, I spoke about a new school-wide management system that I had helped to develop the previous summer, for which Google Drive would be an essential tool. The handout explains how to set up a Google account so that all Google Drive documents can be accessed and edited by staff members. This artifact meets Goal 3 because it shows that I know about how to use digital tools for organization, collaboration, and management within my school.




Example 2:
This artifact is a PBworks wiki webpage that I worked with my classmates to develop. The assignment was to read a chapter of information on brain-based learning, and summarize our findings as a collaborative effort. The particular page that I worked on was Chapter 14: The Non-conscious Learning Environment. On this page, my group and I provided a summary of how the non-conscious environment can affect the learning process, listed practical tips for educators and trainers, and included pictures that support our text. This artifact meets Goal 3 because it shows that I am aware of how to use an online environment, such as a wiki, to collaborate with my peers about what I have learned.
